happy mother’s day!

I have been very lucky to have life work that is so fulfilling and to have witnessed and captured all types of mother-love between all generations – and even luckier still to have been a parent. Being a mother to my beautiful daughter is hands down, the most rewarding experience of my life.

And sometimes, when worlds collide as they did just this past week, magic happens. A couple, who entered my life as client and quickly became “friends and family,” asked me to be godmother to their daughter, Minerva Gail who was born May 6.

These life connections are everything to me. I appreciate all of my assistants and interns I have been able to “mother” at moments, all the children in my extended family, my steady Labrador retriever, Rufus, and last but not least… crazy Cosmo the Havanese.

The biggest thank you to my mom and to all the other mothers in my life who have shown me what it means to love and be loved.
