Sara Hope Link and Eric Joshua Neisner are to be married Sunday at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York. Rabbi Rick Jacobs, the groom’s cousin and president of the Union for Reform Judaism, will officiate.
The bride, 38, will continue to use her name professionally. She is a senior manager at AOL in New York, where she is part of a team building the AOL Foundation, which will be the company’s charitable organization set to begin operations later this year. She graduated from the University of Maryland and received a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia. She is also a founder of the Josh Link Foundation named for her late brother. The foundation awards grants to programs promoting creativity or programs working with those with special needs.
She is the daughter of Linda R. Link and Ronald H. Link of Syosset, N.Y. The bride’s father is an independent insurance broker in Syosset. Her mother retired as a speech and language pathologist at the Bethpage Union Free School District in Bethpage, N.Y.
The groom, 39, works in New York for the global asset management unit of Legg Mason, which is based in Baltimore. He graduated from Emory.
He is the son of Paula D. Neisner and Sam D. Neisner of Palm Beach Shores, Fla. The groom’s mother is a retired professor, who taught health at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His father retired as the guidance director at Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, Fla.
The groom’s previous marriage ended in divorce.
